This sculpture depicts a small (near life-size) firefly resting on a blade of grass in a mossy forest floor. Its created as mixed media using dried moss, palm fronds (grass), and a handcrafted/painted firefly. There is custom designed electronics embedded in the base of the sculpture to mimic the glowing of a real firefly! The electronics are powered by a single AAA battery with an on/off switch.
