This painting was created from several photos I took on the beach at Marco Isand, Florida. I wanted to capture the soft and warm colors of the morning beach before the sun rose. The sailboat in the distance is painted with thick texture to catch the light and make it pop out of the painting, just like how I saw it when the sun was catching the sail!
